THORNBURY PARK

Public BBQ

A small, scenic park at Ascot Vale with a good picnic area and a fine view over the river, though it sits off the main riverside path rather than on it. There are no toilets and no car park either - the neighbouring streets are permit zones only. Despite the name, it is nowhere near Thornbury.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
